What type of toothbrush and toothpaste should I use?

Use toothbrushes with soft bristles. Medium and firm toothbrushes can damage teeth and gums. Use soft pressure, for 2 minutes, twice a day. Both powered and manual toothbrushes clean teeth well. Manual brushes with mixed bristle heights or angled bristles clean better than those with all flat, even if it is bristles toothbrushe. Powered toothbrushes may be easier if you have trouble using your hands.

Does a rinse or mouthwash help?

Mouthwashes with regular brushing and flossing may help in cavity protection, sensitivity, and fresh breath, but ask dentis for proper guidance. Some people need twice-daily rinses for gum health or alcohol-free washes for dry mouth. Kids below 6-8 years should not use mouthwash to avoid the chance of them swallowing it.

What are early signs of dental trouble?

Is it healthy to floss every day?

Yes! Flossing everyday can be an important part of oral health. By flossing daily, you can remove plaque from the areas between your teeth where the toothbrush can’t reach. Flossing also helps prevent gum disease and cavities.
